Wildco® Hess Stream Bottom Sampler

Effectively samples gravel and cobble stream bottoms. Stainless steel cylinder with two large windows and a pair of strong handles forcibly pushes cylinder into gravel or cobble stream bottoms. Penetration depth is adjustable. Water flows in through upstream window of sampler, out through downstream window, and into collecting net and bucket. Forward window of sampler is covered with 1000 µ mesh, nylon Nitex® bolting cloth. Cylinder is 13" I.D. x 16" H with an area of 133 square inches.
